I love a good personal development book, I’ve read many and not all of them are hits. Some are too woo woo, others are repetitive and filled with more fluff than valuable content, and some are just poor knockoffs of better books.

These books are the best personal growth books that I’ve read so far. I learned so much valuable information from them and almost all of them have been read or listened to multiple times and will be reread in the future, because each time I reread them I get something new out of it.

From building habits, improving your mindset, and gaining self confidence, these books will help you understand human behavior and yourself better so that you can get the most out of your life!

    1. This looks like a wonderful list and the books recommended great. I have not read any of these, I will sure give the ‘Big magic’ a try along with ‘You are Badass’, I saw these on Amazon and the reviews are luring me towards them.

  1. I’ve been trying to read more self-help books lately, so this list is really helpful. I have read You Are A Badass and already had The 5 Second Rule on my list. I have now added the rest to my to-read list.

  2. Believe me, the first one by Jen Sencero I have on my bedside table! Love it! And last year my wonderful daughter gave me her copy of the ‘5 Second Rule’ since I deal with anxiety and it truly has helped me conquer it!

  3. You’ve got some great suggestions here! Some introduced me to The Slight Edge a few years ago, and I’ve read it multiple times… each time I seem to get something new out of it!

  4. I’ve read a few of these. I’m interested in checking out You do You next. Right now, I’m listening to Do It Scared by Ruth Soukup on Audible. It’s another good one.
