As we stand at the threshold of a new year, it’s the perfect time to set our sights on the infinite possibilities that lie ahead. It’s easy to set goals and create new years resolutions, but it can be hard to achieve them.

The most important tool you need to succeed at your goals is not waking up early or buying the perfect planner, it’s your mindset. You must believe you can achieve it, you have to know that it’s within your reach, and you have to be your own biggest cheerleader. Which is why I’m sharing affirmations for the new year, because they are so helpful in creating a success mindset and positive transformation.

Motivation comes and goes in waves, so you can’t rely on it alone to get you to the finish line. When you have an empowering mindset and you believe in your success, not only does it help to sustain your motivation, but it helps you take action even when you don’t feel motivated.

Let’s say you don’t believe in your ability to achieve a goal, where did that belief come from? It came from experiences that created negative thoughts that you’ve had over and over again.

Beliefs are just repetitive thoughts that come up around a subject, and the more you repeat that thought the more it reinforces that belief.   3. Keep it simple. You don’t have to use all the affirmations all the time. Choose 1-3 to focus on at a time. Once they feel like they’ve become part of your belief system you can come back and choose new ones.
  4. Be consistent no matter how long it takes. You didn’t develop your limiting beliefs and doubts in one day, so they won’t be erased overnight. Creating new beliefs takes time, so commit and persist until you just naturally think in a new way.

When we have a big goal or desire a major change in our life, that dream can feel so far away that we wonder if it’s even possible, and who are we to even want that thing. Start affirming that your goals are within your reach and your desires are meant for you, you will feel so much more confident pursuing them and taking action throughout the new year.

5. Today I can be, do, and have anything I desire.

We spend our lives putting so many limits on ourselves and what we’re capable of achieving, but you can’t keep doing that if you want to achieve your big dreams.
